The Dragon Whistle is a six-shooter revolver from Steamland.
Skybert intends to bring it to Dreamland for the assassination of Zøg but Bean managed to steal it. Bean had accidentally shot Zøg with the gun. In "Beanie Get Your Gun", Bean found the gun again in Odval's office and hid it in her room, but the Arch-Druidess found it there and brought it with her when she went to conduct Derek's wedding. She almost shot Bean with the gun, but Odval made her miss.
The name of the gun comes from the fact that the people of Dreamland are not familiar with firearms or airships; they believed Skybert's airship was a dragon and the gun was the whisle he used to summon this dragon.
