Pendant

The Eternity Pendant is a magic pendant, and the only receptacle capable of creating and containing the Elixir of Life.

Whoever wears the activated Pendant containing elf blood will be given immortality, or be brought back from the dead.

The pendant was orginally used by Malfus who wanted eternal love, but after realizing that living forever is a curse, he threw it off the Edge of the World. And it was later found by King Doris, who tried to cure his petrified people to no avail, but he was later turned to stone himself.

In "The Limits of Immortality", the pendant is found by Bean, Luci and Elfo in Cremorrah, and brought back to Dreamland. However, when Zog tries to use the pendant using a drop of Elfo's blood, the pendant fails to work because Elfo is only half Elf while the pendant needs 100% pure Elf Blood to function. In "To Thine Own Elf Be True", after a battle between the Elves of Elfwood and the soldiers of Dreamland during which Elfo is killed, Bean gets her hands on a handkerchief containg pure Elf Blood, but it is just enough to make the pendant work once. With heavy heart, she foregoes reviving Elfo and uses the Pendant to bring her mother, Queen Dagmar, back from being petrified.

The Pendant is used again in "The Very Thing", when Leavo convinces King Rulo to have all the Elves move to Dreamland and be allowed to live there in return for their help to restore all the inhabitants of Dreamland, who had been petrified by Dagmar, to life with their blood.

The pendant is last seen when Luci briefly encounters it in the Trøg tunnels underneath Dreamland. It is unknown what became of it as it is never brought up again after this.
