The Coat of Arms of King Zog is the heraldic symbol of a tree which can be seen in a number of places in Disenchantment.
Appearance[]
It appears on The Herald's tunic, on wall hangings in the Royal court as well as being depicted in the glass beyond the throne of the king. It appears to depict a tree floating on water or air.
Meaning[]
- It might be symbolic of the axis mundi, or World Tree, an archetypal symbol passed down from myths and religions through the ages.
- It might also be a reference to Sir Bedevere's coat of arms in Monty Python and The Holy Grail.[1]
