P.T. McGee is a member of The League of Gallivanting Scrutinators, P.T. ran the Freak Show that imprisoned Mora, Elfo, Edith, and his own son.
P.T. initially clashed with Elfo (who was pretending to be a member of the League of Gallivanting Scrutinators) because Elfo was claiming to have traveled to more places than P.T.. Elfo, in an attempt to list somewhere he had been that P.T. definitely hadn't, claimed to have been to Elfwood. As proof, Elfo revealed that he was an elf, and was immediately placed in P.T.'s Freak Show.
P.T. was given a sound thrashing when Bean rescued Elfo and let all the Freak Show prisoners loose.
Some time later he goes to the Enchanted Forest of Dreamland to capture new creatures to explode in his show. On this occasion he captures Ursula and the Racist Antelope. He then arranges with Freckles for the latter to sell Derek and Jasper, before he also takes the cursed puppet to make an attraction, then he does the same thing with Odval when Zøg arrives in Steamland to find his sons .
In "I Hear Your Noggin, But You Can't Come In", Bean, Zøg and Mora free all of the freakds from his freakshow. P.T. chases Bean and Zøg into the Dreamland dark ride, but they loose him by stealing a hot air balloon.
In "Goodbye Bean", he is last seen approaching the Lady in the Lake, believing her to be a forest siren, but when he tries to capture her she reveals herself to be a huge monstrous fish that devours him.

His name is likely a very subtle nod to P.T. Barnum.
