The Pauper's graveyard is a burial site in Dreamland reserved for the poorest inhabitants.
When King Zøg learend of the coup that the Arch-Druidess and Odval staged against him, he tried to escape Dreamland Castle by faking his death and have Sir Pendergast smuggle him out of the castle in a coffin. However, the Arch-Druidess learned about the plan, murdered Pendergast, and brought the coffin with Zog to this graveyard, where she burried him alive. Zøg thus spend several hours underground, slowly going mad, until he was rescued by the Trøgs who were robbing the graves from a mining tunnel underneath the graveyard.
The names on the tombstones make it painfully clear that the people burried here were nobodies that no-one cared about. Some examples are:
