Not to be confused with "The Battle of Falling Water" (episode)

There have been two mentioned Battles of Falling Water in Disenchantment.

The first Battle of Falling Water was sometime before the start of the series. This fight was a battle between the Elves and Mermaids versus the Humans. It was shown through a flashback in "The Unbearable Lightning of Bean"; Bean grabbed a sword stuck in a mermaid skeleton to get a flashback. Elves - the rightful citizens of Dreamland - with Mermaids on their side fought the Humans over Dreamland. Suddenly, bolts of bluish lightning shoots into the area, turning all the people fighting to skeletons. A mermaid was then stabbed in the chest. This battle was referenced in "Bean Falls Down", too; Big Jo has King Xøg's page of The Royal Log torn out. In the ancient language of the ancients, it says that a battle was fought between the rightful citizens - Elves - and the humans. The elves lost, but put a curse on all successors to the throne. The curse, according to the Royal Log, starts at King Trøg. This implies the first Battle of Falling Water was fought before King Trøg became King. The mermaid that was stabbed in the first Battle of Falling Water was mentioned by Mora in "Last Splash", she went into the stars to guide people to Mermaid Island.

The second Battle of Falling Water happened in the aptly named episode "The Battle of Falling Water". It is a fight between Bean's army - Elves, Mermaids, Trøgs, Humans (that weren't part of Queen Dagmar's forces), Bean, Elfo, Luci, Zøg, Oona, Derek, Jasper, Stan, Bunty, Rulo, Superviso, Miri and Mora. - and Bad Bean's army - Dagmar's knights, Goons and Bad Bean. The battle lasts a long time, during which Bean tries to get Dagmar. Dagmar stops her, but Bean follows Bad Bean to the Crystal Cavern. They have a final confrontation there, where they shoot lightning at each other. Bad Bean runs back into the main battle, where Bean follows her. Bean ends up stabbing Bad Bean, but it was an illusion; she really stabbed Mora. This devastates Bean so much, she shoots lightning at Bad Bean, killing her and nearly everyone else, similarly to the first Battle of Falling Water. The battle ends after that.
